At Richard Allen Associates, the health and safety of our clients, family, and selves are our top priority.

With the COVID-19 virus having an increasing impact in our community, we want to let you know how we are addressing this situation.

  • As an essential service helping taxpayers comply with their legally obligated tax filings, we are working 7 days per week to assist our clients and anyone else, up to our capacity.
  • However, to protect our clients and the general public, we are meeting with clients by appointment only.

In order to help our clients stay safe, these are the steps we have put in place:

  1. We have established a "Drop Box" at our office.  You may drop your papers in this box.  The drop box is in the front of the office. You can call us at 310-465-1990 when you drop your papers.  We will receive the papers and start working on them as soon as possible.
  2. If you are a client that already has access to your secure portal at, please navigate to your 2020 folder (TY20) and upload your documents to the "Client Source Documents" subfolder.  We should receive notification when you do so and will start working on your information as soon as possible.
  3. All new clients are encouraged to use our website-based Secure Firm Portal to send us files and exchange documents online. You can access the portal via the link on our website or  We will set up your private portal after you have been onboarded.
  4. To accommodate any concerns, we have taken the following additional steps:
  • We have increased the cleaning and sanitation of our offices.
  • We have added additional alcohol-based sanitizer around our office.

If you are experiencing, fever and/or cold / flu symptoms, please do not visit our office until 10 days from your onset of symptoms and have been fever free for three days.  During this difficult time, we are committed to serving our clients with care and consideration. We will continue to monitor the situation and take precautionary measures to promote the health and safety of our clients, family, and selves.
